About the Design

Famed goth-beauty, Death, featured here as a cut-and-sew doll. Bring her grace and wisdom to life

with just a needle and thread.

This is one cut-and-sew character, Death. Death comes with: - 1 x Morpheus the Cat, - 1 x Set of Wings, - 1x Hallowe'en Pumpkin (complete with Ankh), - 1x Signature Black Umbrella, - 1x Studded Goth-Girl Belt, - 1x Cut and Fold Comic (looks great with a bit of glue to stiffen it.) Designed specifically for Fat Quarter cloth. Instructions are included on the cloth, alongside descriptions. Instructions: 1) Cut along the dotted line. 2) Turn fabric so that the print is on the inside (for both front and back.) 3) Sew. Leave a bit of space to turn it right-side out. 4) Turn right-side out (I find a pencil with an eraser is great for assisting in this step.) 5) Stuff with fluff and happiness. 6) Sew the opening shut and enjoy! For the Belt, Comic: 1) Use a clear-drying glue (I use Elmer's White glue) and apply liberally to the belt. I do not recommend cutting the belt or comic out at this stage. 2) Once dry, the fabric will be stiff but flexible. 3) Cut the fabric along the dotted lines if you wish (or closer to the image to eliminate the extra blue fabric.) 4) Wrap the belt around your doll and fix in place with one or two stitches. The glue will make the belt look like a different fabric, which lends to the doll's overall appearance. 5) The comic will be able to be cut out more cleanly and will be easy to fold over. You might choose to add a bit of felt cut to fit between the "pages" or just use the stiffened fabric as a display piece. It looks good even when the pages are glued together. Added bonus: if you have Mod-Podge or a gloss to finish the cover - it lends the fabric a proper "comic" sheen. *Wings do not need to be stuffed, but look great sewn together and turned right-side out and attached. You might choose to add Velcro to your doll and the wings to create removable accessories.
