Notes from the artist: Following a fresh snow in December 2013, I sewed garlands and draped them on a small spruce tree, for painting inspiration. My mother taught her children to string popcorn and cranberries at Christmas holidays. A long, fine needle works best to make garlands, so as not to crack the popcorn. Squirrels and birds enjoy these edible garlands. The ornament is in my own collection at home, but is silver in color. I hope you will show me the projects you create with my fabrics.
