About the Design

This marble design is a creamy, dreamy blend of mauve, pink, teal, aqua, olive green and beige with

a striped effect on the crosswise grain.

This larger scale version of the design would be excellent for upholstery and pillows. It would also make a most awesome quilt border. and coordinates beautifully with the other fabrics in colorway 1 of the Dreamscape Collection. I love the smaller scale version as a long dress, or just a shorter dress with a flouncy skirt. * * * Here is the URL to the full Dreamscape Collection in Colorway 1: http://www.spoonflower.com/collections/154914 * * * The design has a rather interesting origin. I like to recycle my paintings, and this has been one of the results. I took the Dreamscape painting, digitally liquified it, and then used it as the palette to create the marble. I was very pleased with the result. You may view the painting here: http://mary-wykes.pixels.com/featured/dreamscape-3-mary-wykes.html * * * The key fabric in this collection is also derived directly from the painting. I just made a few changes so that it would repeat nicely. * * * Send a message through the link in the left hand column if you need for me to make any adjustments for you. * * * Happy sewing! * * * copyright Mary K Wykes 7-30-16
