About the Design

My submission for the Time Machine challenge. We are taken to Japan in the 17th-18th century where

Ukiyo-e styled art and Geishas flourished.

This piece is heavily inspired by traditional Japanese Kimono patterns, along with Ukiyo-e style art of the 17th-18th century in Japan. This pattern contains elements of Geishas, sea waves, mountains and sakura blossoms, which are all very prominent elements of this style of art. There are a few other coloured versions to this design that you can also check out!
