pollinators like these tiny blue Azure butterflies
As a wildflower enthusiast I love drawing local flowers! Yarrow is a gorgeous flower that attracts pollinators such as these tiny blue Spring Azure butterflies. Both Yarrow and Azure butterflies are native to much of North America, and I often spot them as I go for hikes in my home province of Alberta, Canada. In my own urban garden I look for local wildflowers to plant - not only are they more drought and pest tolerant they attract pollinators. It’s just a small way I can contribute to preserve our beautiful world!
