Per wikipedia.org, a six sided mandala is a hexagram called a satkona yantra or a sadkona yantra. It symbolizes the nara narayana, the perfect meditative state of balance achieved between man and God. My goal is to have this available in several sizes. Until that point if you need another size NOW just tell me - and I will resize it for you right away. This was my original concept for the Canadian Wildlife contest. Though I loved the design I decided I should try again, aiming for more realistic antlers in my mandala. That version actually ended up being more of a quatrefoil but I was pleased with it. You will find that design and a number of other variations, in the collection titled Antler Inspirations. I see this design as highly useful for home decor items ranging from wallpaper to an elegant tablecloth. The simple color scehem of blue and brown allows it to flow smoothly through the seasons. In a smaller size I would love to use it for a blouse, skirt or dress. I'd also love to see what a skilled quilter could do with it! copyright - Mary Beglau Wykes - June 28, 2020
