I found this really cool vintage mouse toy at a thrift shop one day a few years back, so I decided to go crazy embellishing the top half of the mouse (paint, sea urchin, shells, bling, writing), then removed the lower half of the mouse and sewed up a mermaid tail with a mermaid design of mine, attached it, and...voila!...mermouse! The mermouse is surrounded by hand drawn mermaids, fish, octopus, hermit crabs, sea stars, waves and bubbles. The mermouse hangs on the wall in my mermaid/ocean themed guest bath making me happy.
