Weather change in New Mexico can lead to a spectacular color shift in the sky. Facing one direction, you might see vibrant blues with fluffy white clouds. Turn around and you might see dark purple and blue clouds with vibrant pinks and magentas peaking through. Look again 5 minutes later and the skyscape has completely changed. This large scale pattern is excellent for home decor. The layers of color and texture also work well in small pieces for quilt projects.
