This collection has been inspired by an eccentric friend who always wears a smile and an unusual hat. She always wears exactly what she wants to, oblivious to what is in fashion, or what someone else might say. Her outfits are always delightful, and make me smile. One of her favorite hats has three daisies, and I just had to include them in an abstract drawing I was creating one day. It became the central design in this collection. Every time I look at the original piece of art, it makes me smile. It has been a delight to transform it into a fabric design.
