sculpture and wanted to incorporate that into my design.
My style is not what I would call minimalist, so this was extra challenging to me. Instead of doing something super basic, I thought it would be fun to research the minimalist art movement and found the work of Charlotte Posenske, a German artist who gained some prominence in the 1960's. I really liked her use of galvanized metal, so created a texture to use within this piece as the background. I mimicked some of the forms she uses in her sculpture and included them in some of the mini artworks. These panels were arranged in salon style to look like a gallery wall. I feel like I could see this pattern on some wacky vintage clothing.
