French style of Toile de Jouy
I have a precious memory of walking with my daughter when she was about three, holding her hand and trying to embed the memory of her tiny hand in mine because I know how time passes all too quickly. When I close my eyes I can still feel that tiny hand in mine. My daughter is now a grown woman, with a love for the sea... just like me. When I was little my lovely Nan and Grandad used to take me on day trips to the coast. I loved sitting and 'people watching'. Grandad used to sit in his deckchair and tell me imaginary stories about the people in their beach huts. The anticipation I still feel as I walk the path to the beach makes my heart skip. Part of the Leave only Footprints collection. This print has been designed to co-ordinate with Me and My Girl Toile de Jouy. The dusky pink draws inspiration from Farrow & Ball Paint shade Cinder Rose. And the delicate off-white background takes it's inspiration from Farrow & Ball Paint shade All White.
