About the Design

Artist Nancy Lee Moran took her own photos of foxes in early June 2020, then developed the seamless

pattern in Photoshop in August 2021.

The owls are Nancy's art, too. The neutral design of silvery sage has vivid accents of orange and dark blue. The fabric repeat is about 4 x 4 inches, half-drop pattern. The wallpaper repeat is about 6 x 6 inches, half-drop pattern. The foxes came out of the woodland near sunset in order to hunt mice that lived in an old concrete structure that was crumbling. While I (Nancy) never approached them, they grew accustomed to me sitting quietly nearby. These kits had probably been born in late March and had remained in the den for about 50 days.
