In Mexican culture color is a very important part of the design, the sun and weather of the country are a great influence in the colors we use. These Mexican dolls are from the Mazahua culture. Women stitch scraps of fabric to make these amazing dolls. Their hair is wool and their clothes are embroidered. I believe every Mexican girl has owned one of these at some point in her life.
