A design intended to look like old Victorian brocade with hearts, flowing flowers, lace-like bubbles, and an earth toned palette. This art was entirely hand drawn. There are zero computer tricks used to create it (other than scanning it for uploading to Spoonflower, and cropping that scanned art to create the elements for the exact repeat and look). I started with a shopping bag colored sheet of tan cardstock. Sketched pencil lines on it until I liked the image, then colored that image in using fiber tipped markers and Sukara Soufle brand paint pens. Last I drew the outlines of each image in gray paint pen. (It is so much easier to color within the lines if you color first and draw the lines on top!) This is also available in a larger size, but this size was the one I, as the artist, wanted. (File m05a10)
