Growing up in Miami and currently living in Little Haiti, I am surrounded by Caribbean people and free yardbirds flocking throughout the streets. Yardbirds customarily visit neighboring homesteads, searching for food with their chickens. Inspired by the rich Haitian and Cuban culture, I decided to create a fun caricature print befitting for kitchens, cafes, and textiles.
